Milled Fiber
The glass E milled fibers is made by small filament cut at 80 o 160 µm. Unlike the chopped strand this fiber is milled and a given length is obtained. The milled fibers allows to improve compatibility with resin systems, provide a specific density and combine to acquire excellent mechanical properties and ideal to achieve passive fire protection.
Applications
In moldable composites of thermoset resins such as polyester, epoxy, phenolic, thermoplastic, vinyl, acrylic resins. Intumescent paints and resins. Reinforcement of concrete and even in asphalts.
